1. What is Home-Schooled.com? Home-Schooled.com is The Internet's First Homeschool Alumni Directory! This site was created to provide a safe networking place for homeschooling familes on the internet. Our goal is to connect you to homeschoolers all over the world and to show the world that homeschooling works! Find out who homeschools in your area! Find support, information, and encouragement that you need! Make friends and share your homeschooling experience.
2. Who Can Post Homeschool Profiles? Everyone over 18 years of age who is a homeschooler is welcome to register and post a profile. Whether you are a beginner, an experienced homeschooler, a homeschool graduate, a homeschool information and/or service provider, or a homeschool support group or organization, we invite you to register now and submit your profile.
3. What's a Homeschool Profile? What do I post? - Everything you want to share about your family, your homeschool, curriculum you use, how many children, your homeschool experience, your testimony, and other comments. To see an example of a homeschool profile page, click here.
4. My Language and Conduct? - Family-safe and child-friendly words only please! We subscribe to strong Christian and traditional family values! Profile placement is subject to our approval. We reserve the right to delete or modify postings that are inappropriate (these include but are not limited to: foul language, pornography, alternative lifestyles, cult activities, gambling, etc). Please read our mission and statement of faith.
5. Number of Posts - The maximum number of posts/profiles a person can post is 4 at any given time (up to 4 categories).
6. Number of Pictures - The maximum number of pictures a person can upload is 4 at any given time.
7. Can I delete my profile? - Yes you may add, change, delete your profile.
8. Why Do I Need a User ID and Password? - For privacy and protection, a User ID and Password are required for a user to submit, change, delete files. Your mailing address is required during registration but is not made public.
9. Are my mailing and e-mail addresses visible to the public? - Your privacy is protected. Your e-mail address is hidden and you are not required to post your mailing address, unless you choose to include them in your postings.
10. What if someone wants to e-mail me or if I want to contact another User? - Simply fill-out the Contact Form at the bottom of the User's profile and hit "Send This Message." The message will be sent through our Form Mail without revealing the User's e-mail address. We do not receive copies of email sent to you. Communication sent to and from you through our system is private.
11. Please No Spamming or Selling Using The Contact Form! You may not contact any user for the purpose of business solicitation, selling, or e-mail address collection. The Contact Form is provided so that users can contact each other to establish friendship and homeschooling support only.
12. What about promoting my business? If your business or website is homeschool-related, you may post a profile under Homeschool Links and Resources. Or better yet, please consider sponsoring us by Banner/Button Sponsorship or business ad at Homeschool Supermall. In this case, you may be contacted by users to request information about your product(s) or users may visit your site directly to make purchases.

13. Home-Schooled.com does not act as a mediator, arbitrator, messenger, communicator, etc. between Users. We do not handle purchase transactions between users. Home-Schooled.com is only an information database and information herein are for information purposes only and not to be misconstrued as a legal advice.
14. Users assume full responsibility over the content of their Profile Pages.
15. Users agree to assume all legal liability, losses, and legal fees related to their profiles placed on Home-Schooled.com. These include but are not limited to claims and suits for plagiarism, libel, copyright infringement, trademark violations, harm to minors, or invasion of privacy. Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Home-Schooled.com, its owners and workers from any such charges or suits.
16. Home-Schooled.com does not guarantee, either by verbal or written or implied means, that placement of profiles will result in sales, income, or other earnings.
17. Home-Schooled.com reserves the right to terminate any User who fails to abide by these terms and conditions.
18. Home-Schooled.com reserves the right to terminate and discontinue this free service at anytime without notice to Users.
19. What About My Privacy? We do not collect information from children and minors! We will not sell, barter, rent, or share any of your personally identifiable information to third parties. All information you give us will only be used for internal purposes and site improvement. We will occassionally contact our users by e-mail regarding site updates and other information that may be of interest. Users have the opportunity to opt-out of receiving promotional/marketing information from us. If you would like to do so, you will be provided a link in the e-mail that will allow you to do so.
Use Of Cookies
Home-Schooled.com uses cookies in some areas of our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. In select portions of our site we use "Session Cookies" to store login information throughout the course of your visit. This information is not stored on your hard drive and is deleted as soon as your web browser software is closed. In the course of serving advertisements to this site, our third-party advertisers may place or recognize a unique "cookie" on your browser. We have no access to or control over these cookies.
Statistics
We use third party software to monitor statistics on our website. Stats we collect are referring URLs, entry and exit pages, type of browsers, most accessed pages, unique visitors, domain addresses, etc. None of these information are personally identifiable or do not reveal personal information about the user.
